Plausible
Simple, privacy-first web analytics dashboard

What is Plausible?
Try PlausiblePlausible is a privacy-first web analytics dashboard that helps you understand how visitors find and use your site. It’s designed to be simple to set up and to keep reporting actionable, with filters for acquisition, technology, geography, and on-site behavior. You can measure conversions with goals, events, and (multi-step) funnels—then reuse those views with saved segments.
What does Plausible do for website analytics and audience segmentation?
Plausible turns web traffic data into clear analytics so you can understand how different groups of visitors find and use your site. You can apply filters to break down results by source, device, location, and on-site behavior, then use goals, events, and funnels to measure conversions.
Is Plausible no-code enough for getting started?
Plausible uses a script-based setup, and you can enable or disable optional measurements (like outbound link clicks, file downloads, and form submissions) during onboarding without changing your site snippet. If you use Google Tag Manager, there’s also an official GTM template.
How do I track user journeys and analyze paths through my site?
You can see user paths with the User Journeys feature, and you can also analyze conversion steps with funnels (including strict order funnels for more precise path analysis). For page-level visibility, you can break down Top Pages, Entry Pages, and Exit Pages by full URL instead of just path.
How does Plausible handle privacy, cookies, and personal data?
Plausible skips cookies entirely and doesn’t store personal data that can identify individuals. It processes analytics anonymously using irreversibly hashed visitor identifiers, and it doesn’t store raw IP addresses or User-Agent in logs, databases, or on disk.
Can I segment by what users do, like clicks, downloads, form submissions, and conversions?
Yes. You can turn pageviews into goals, track actions with custom events (such as clicks and downloads), and use funnels to understand where visitors drop off. Form submissions are available as an optional measurement, with automatic detection across your site.
Can I see AI traffic and connect Plausible to search console data?
Plausible includes an AI Assistants channel in Channels so you can view individual AI traffic sources like ChatGPT, Claude, Google Gemini, and Perplexity. It also integrates with Google Search Console so search terms and clicks can appear in your dashboard, and you can filter results by the Google traffic source.
